For me, it’s Stryper’s To Hell With the Devil. The second that riff kicks in, I’m not here in 2025. I’m 11 years old again, flying down the William Natcher Parkway with my dad in the Chevy Nova, the windows down, the speakers pushed to their limit. My job was simple—rock out in the passenger seat and be the one to throw the change in the toll booth. That clink of coins, that blast of guitar… it’s burned into my soul.That’s what vinyl does—it doesn’t just play music. It plays you.
